North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has said he is ready to engage in dialogue with the United States and hold a summit meeting with President Donald Trump.

The leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong-il, met in Beijing with China's Chairman Xi Jinping and discussed the tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
As reported by Central Television of China, the parties also discussed a lot of friendly relations between countries and cooperation. Kim Jong-il's visit to China lasted from March 25 to March 28. He traveled with a special train.
Recall that on March 9, US President Donald Trump reported on preparations for a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Yin.
Later Trump said that the DPRK promised not to conduct nuclear tests during the negotiations.
Speaking about the upcoming meeting with Kim Jong Yin, Trump said that they could "make the largest deal in the world."
Sweden said it was ready to hold a historic meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Yin.
