If the third use of chemical weapons in Syria happens, then there will be a much more powerful response than before - Bolton

US National Security Adviser John B. Bolton on Monday promised a more powerful response from Washington and its partners if the Syrian authorities again use chemical weapons.

As informs Censor.NET, informs Interfax-Ukraine.

"In recent days, we have been trying to send a signal that if the third use of chemical weapons occurs, then the answer will be much stronger (earlier than Ed.)," He said while speaking in Washington.

"I can say that we are consulting with the British and French who joined us during the second blow (in Syria - Ed.) And they also agreed that the consequence of another use of chemical weapons would be a much stronger response", - added the adviser.

Earlier, the US Wall Street Journal reported that the US intelligence allegedly received data on the permission given by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to government forces to use chlorine during a liberation operation from the terrorists in the province of Idlib.

On April 4, 2017, a chemical attack was carried out in the Syrian city of Khan-Sheikhun, killing almost 100 people. Most of the Western countries and the Syrian opposition have been liable for it by the Syrian government. In Damascus, these allegations are rejected.
