Facebook has released the first gadget - smart screen for video calls

Facebook has introduced its first gadgets for its development - Smart Portal screens.

Portal is actually a voice assistant: it can help you find out the weather, listen to music, order delivery of food, etc.

However, the gadget is positioned, first of all, as a video call device, because it can be used to communicate with Facebook Messenger contacts. In addition, during the call, the device allows you to use the function of complemented reality.



Two models of devices are reported - Portal and Portal +. At the moment, they can be ordered only in the US at a price of #199 and $349 dollars.
