Britain after Brexit may introduce a state of war - The Sunday Times
Great Britain in case of disorderly Brexit can enter a military state to prevent chaos in the country
It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the newspaper The Sunday Times.
The Government of the United Kingdom discusses the feasibility of the 2004 Emergency Act, which allows you to introduce a curfew, confiscate property, restrict freedom of movement and engage the armed forces to suppress unrest. The Government may, in such circumstances, be entitled to amend any legislation, with the exception of the Human Rights Act.
According to the interlocutor of the publication, the initiators of the introduction of a martial law as a model of violations of the order consider the situation that arose due to the crashes caused by the eruption of the volcano in Iceland in 2010.
The newspaper also reports that the London government is seeking to continue working hours for parliamentarians to enable them to complete the development of Brexit legislation before Britain leaves the European Union.
