US decided to finish off the Russian economy with new sanctions

US extended its industry-sanctions against the Russian economy of the South Kirinskoye oil and gas field in the Sea of Okhotsk.

According to the notification, published on Friday, August 7, a core unit of US Department of Commerce, this field will continue to be subject to the sanctions regime of export controls.
"The US government has decided that the export, re-export and distribution within the country of any products subject to export regulation to address this deposit by any person without first obtaining a license, Bureau of Industry and Security (Ministry of Trade) carries unacceptable risks from the perspective of (violations) sectoral sanctions" against Russia, indicated in the publication.
Last year, the senior representative of "Gazprom" Anatoly Sorokin argued that Western sanctions have not affected the company's performance in the Kirinskoye block. According to him, South Kirinskoye field in terms of depth is "at the crossroads of sanctions." Besides, he said then, all the necessary equipment has already been delivered and are "in Russia or Korea."
As reported by the "Observer", formerly an American lawyer Gene Byrd, a partner at law firm AGG, said that the economic restrictions against the Russian Federation , which the United States extended after the vote, the Russian delegation to the UN Security Council on the Tribunal to investigate the death of Boeing-777, work against Kremlin exponentially.
