Putin’s buddies setting him up

The signing by Pres Putin of a decree to destroy imported food banned by Russia in a tit-for-tat move against West's sanctions can be viewed as an attempt by Kremlin insiders to set their patron up, Russian-based journalists Sasha Sotnik writes in Facebook Aug. 9.
The notorious decree to destroy Western food can be viewed both ways, he writes:
"First, those related to the decree should be isolated in a lunatic asylum.
Second, Putin's buddies are getting ready to dump their boss as only an absolute idiot could sign such decree. "
On Saturday, 350 tons of imported tomatoes, apricots, cheeses, etc. have been destroyed by bulldozers in Russia.
