Treasurer Vatican accused of sexual crimes

Australian Cardinal George Pell, who is treasurer of the Vatican, and one of the main advisers to the Pope Francis is accused of committing sexual crimes.
Australian police reported that Pell filed charges of committing several sexual offenses, transmits Reuters.
"Cardinal Pell is accused of committing sexual crimes," - said at a press conference in Melbourne spokeswoman Victoria state police Shane Patton.
She said, "there are several applicants related to these charges."
It is noted that the accused should appear July 18 before a court in Melbourne.
