In the US, hackers stole five million bank cards

In the United States, hackers stole data on holders of five million bank cards and provided information about 125,000 cards for sale.

This is reported by agency AP.

It is noted that card information was collected during the year. This was done by a group of hackers who had previously broken the system of restaurants and hotels.

These hackers received a leak of information at the shops of Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks Off Fifth and Lord & Taylor.

There, they acknowledged the lack of payment in the payment system used by hackers to steal customer information. The companies were assured that the online payment system is currently safe and emphasized that they are taking steps to avoid such situations.

The Hudson's Bay corporation, which owns retail chains, has refused to determine how many customers or stores have suffered.

Recall that Cambridge Analytica, an analyst with Donald Trump's US presidential campaign, illegally accessed more than 50 million Facebook users.
