Woody Allen requires $ 68 million from Amazon. What happened

On February 8, Woody Allen filed $68 million against Amazon Studios because the company allegedly abandoned the deal due to an "unjustified charge of 25 years ago"

Allen appealed to court after Amazon decided to postpone the distribution of his movie "Rainy Day in New York" (A Rainy Day in New York). Production of a romantic comedy featuring Timothy Shalam, Selena Gomez, Judah Lowe and El Fanning ended more than six months ago, but the studio refuses to distribute the film. The company still did not name the date of release of the project, in which it invested $15 million.
The director claims that allegations against him were known at the time of the contract. Amazon refrained from commenting.
In 2014, the adoptive daughter of director Dylan Ferrou accused him of sexual harassment and ill-treatment. In 2016, Amazon Studios signed an agreement with Allen on filming five films and a series. Then there were problems with the release of Allen's movie "Wheel of Wonders".
The premiere of the picture took place at a time when the director again appeared under the watchful eye of the public through the new details of the scandal.
